To say that I was a “wild child” growing up
would be an understatement. I was fortunate to
have good people in my life. They helped me
channel my youthful energy into sports, and
healthy creative pursuits like reading, writing, and
drawing. Whether in pen & ink, color marker,
writing lyrics & music, performing in a “power folk”
band or building educational interactive multi-
media; telling a good story is what motivates me
to create.
I’ve earned degrees in Business Management,
and Computer Technology in Education and, over
the years, I’ve enjoyed reinventing myself. I’ve been
the owner of several creative businesses, a
“corporate warrior” for fortune 500 companies,
and a learning tech entrepreneur. But my two most
life changing and rewarding roles have been
husband of 31 years and father to my teenage son.
25 years ago, I had what I’d call a “personal
creative renaissance”. I caught Santa, Johnny Cool
Gets A Second Chance and The Tales of King
Environ & The Kingdom of Ment were all written at
that time. As so often happens though, life
circumstances required me to set aside my
projects before completing them. Fast forward to
the present. Like many of the characters I write
about, I’m getting a second chance to finish what I
started by bringing my stories to life so they can be
shared with those who are meant to enjoy them. I
couldn’t be more grateful. :-)
